Brief
To design a mezzanine floor for machine parts storage whilst retaining the existing workshop area and partitioned offices at the client’s industrial unit near Saffron Walden, Essex.
Works
To supply and install a mezzanine floor, including;
- reconfiguration of an existing handrail to enable use of the existing staircase to reduce cost whilst providing for access and providing a means of emergency exit via a Cat Ladder.
- Installation of lighting beneath the new mezzanine.
The works involved liaising closely with Building Control to ensure the design met current regulations as well as providing the correct solution for the client.
