Brief
To create a new office design and fit out the Company’s new office just outside Cambridge addressing the problems they had with their existing premises in Waterbeach. The brief comprised the following:
- Improve integration between the Sales and Programming Teams
- Sound proof “Telephone Booths” for the Team to take sensitive calls
- A sociable Canteen area to further enhance communications between staff
- A soundproof Board Room
- A soundproof Server room
- Refurbishment of the dated WC’s and Shower Room to bring them up to the standard of the office space
- An informal meeting/relaxation space within the Open Plan area
- Adaptation and testing of the existing HVAC system to ensure correct function within the new layout
Works
To fit-out the new premises providing:
- New solid and glazed partitions
- Sound proof partitions for the Board Room, Telephone Booths and Server Room
- Acoustic attenuation within the same rooms
- Lighting improvements
- Data cabling installation
- Electrical adaptations
- Complete refurbishment of the WC’s and shower room including vanity units, duct panels, flooring, sanitary ware, wall panelling, shower and enclosure
- New accent carpets to highlight the informal Meeting Area, Board Room and Telephone Booths
- Luxury vinyl tiles within the new Canteen
- New Office furniture
